D.I.Y wrapping paper

I was meaning to put this up before Christmas but got so busy I never got round to it... I've been making my Christmas wrapping paper for the last couple of years and it's a nice simple way to customize your gifts. You could use a non-festive print for Birthdays etc. and all you need is a potato!

What you need:
-potatoes
-knife/scalpel
-paint/inc
-plain paper- matte texture so that it absorbs the paint or ink

Method:
Really easy and quite obvious if you've ever done potato printing at school...
-cut potato in half
-dab out excess moisture
-carve desired pattern making sure it is simple and without too small holes as the paint will fill them and cause splodges
-place in ink pad/paint for an even coating
-print!
