Bluetit chicks update- 7 days old

We have 7 chicks in our bird box and all are doing well (2 eggs failed to hatch). Mum and Dad are vey busy collecting caterpillars and keeping the nest tidy. We're so pleased that the nice weather is here as I'd be worried about their survival in the recent cold and wet weather.

Here are a few shots that sort of capture them over the past 7 days... It's very difficult as they're photos of the live stream on the television as we don't have a video recorder connected. We didn't expect the nest box to get any visitors this year as its only been put up in February, so it was all a bit of a rush to get the cables set up when we suspected Mrs Bluetit had moved in. Next year we will definitely be more organised!
